Slender StoryA silent sigh escaped her lips as she sunk down onto the cold ground. Fallen leaves crunched under her weight as she sat panting, trying to catch her breath. She didn't know how far, or how long, she had been running, but she knew if she didn't stop, that thing would find her again.

She allowed her eyes to slip closed for a moment as her heartbeat slowly returned to normal. Images of him, his mask, flooded her memories, but she didn't let it bother her; no memory could be as bad as the real thing.

She caught him in her room, one night, perched on her wall like a spider. She shrugged it off as some insomnia induced hallucination. She assumed

Slender man, oh slender man?
Where art thou my Slender man?
Keeper of night, taker of day.
The Slender man awaits.
His tendrils slip,
His fingers drip,
He takes the life of whom he likes,
And disappears before the light.
Slender man, oh Slender man?
Where art thou my Slender man?
Your fear will only feed him,
As he comes for you children,
Stalking, testing, waiting.
The Slender man will come for you,
Just wait and see.
He'll slip into your room tonight.

Hiding in the darkness,
Go look and see.
Fall asleep, he won't hurt you.

Wiping a spot of blood

The teacher saw.
She asked me what it was.

I told her.

She gave me a detention.
For that! A detention!
Far worse things have been
said and drawn in this school
with no repercussions.

I think this teacher hates me

Der Großmann,

Oh, should I travel through the woods
Or should I not wishing I would
For above me lurks within the trees
No one could hear my deathly screams

The palest man, the blackest suit
Bigger than the tallest brute
Six black arms will grab you up
Or stalk you till you just give up

A top hat bares upon his head
Makes your soul fill up with dread
He takes you when you least expect
Boil you up, and eat your neck

He'll leave your body not to eat
But staple your corpse on a tree
Fear the man, the slender man
For he can do, what no man can

Is it all worth it?

To traverse through a deserted building or forest to find pages that were scattered by persons in the past? To be stalked by an abomination with no face and a slender figure? To become one of many missing from society, possibly dead and forever lost?

MEh, it's okay. That's what watching play-throughs are for. Plus, I don't really think Slenderman's all that scary. Just jump scares of a tall Eldritch abomination that looks like a mall statue who happens to have tentacles and uses the Schrodinger's Cat method of moving. Yeah, the concept of getting stalked by a creature of another dimension. But one factor stands out; why go after this dang thing?

It is mostly jump scares, but it's better if your actually playing it. It's simular to a roller coaster. There's that big ride that looks scary, but not as scary and thrilling when your actually riding. If you actually play slender alone in a dark room, it can scare the crap out of you with it's creepy music and such
